Digital Video Recorders are a complete based unit that records from 8 channels to 16 channels via special software, onto Hard Drives utilizing a video capture card. The software enables one to view the recorded images by date time frame right down to the last second. Capture cards require specific pc requirements, as they cannot function if specifications are not met.
